Exterior Wood Needs Consistent Attention
South Africa’s climate is demanding on exterior woodwork. The combination of strong UV exposure, high summer rainfall, temperature variation, and periods of drought creates conditions that degrade unprotected or poorly maintained timber faster than in most other climates. The consequences – cracking, splitting, greying, rot – are expensive to reverse once established.
The most cost-effective approach is consistent maintenance: regular inspection, timely treatment, and the use of appropriate products for the surface and the exposure. We offer both once-off restoration of neglected surfaces and ongoing maintenance programmes for clients who want to protect what they have.
